IDEAS develops custom IR front-end electronics systems based on proprietary, cutting-edge integrated circuits for infrared focal plane array readout and control. This enables compact, efficient, and high-performance imaging systems, tailored to specific customer needs. Our flagship infrared ASIC, Nirca MkII, developed under contract with the European Space Agency, is qualified for challenging environments and applications in both space- and terrestrial domains.

Front-End Electronics for Infrared Imaging Systems

IDEAS designs and delivers advanced, tailored front-end electronics for infrared imaging systems, enabling precise and reliable sensing across defense, earth observation, industrial, and scientific domains. Our proprietary readout systems support a wide range of infrared detectors — including MCT, T2SL, and InGaAs — optimized for both cooled and uncooled operation. Our rad-hard electronics offer low noise, low power consumption, high data-rates and compact integration, making them ideal for high-performance, space-constrained platforms.
